How It Works

Step 1.  Free Appraisal - Enter your firearm’s make and model directly into our submission form and submit a few photos to us so that we can help appraise it. If you don’t know what firearm you own, we have experienced appraisers on staff who can determine your make and model. Simply submit a few pictures of your firearm(s) and send them to us to assist in this process!

Step 2. Honest Offer - After we review your firearm’s make, model, as well as the provided photos we will determine it fits our needs. If we determine that the firearm meets our needs we will make you a fair and honest offer.

Step 3.  If you choose to sell your firearm to CashForGuns.com we will ask you to send us a copy of your driver’s license so we can verify your identity. We will send you a prepaid shipping label, and specific shipping instructions for safely securing your firearm and legally shipping it to us. We’ll guide you through the entire process to help ensure that you are doing the safely and legally. Refer to our Shipping Guide for more information.

Step 4.  Once your firearm is received by CashForGuns.com it is processed and we prepare an official record of transfer and a Bill of Sale that indicates that you are no longer the owner. The firearm is officially and legally transferred to CashForGuns.com (a division of GunsInc.com, LLC) the Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder. We send a you a copy of the Bill of Sale and a check payment to you in the mail. It usually takes 3-7 business days to arrive to you depending on where you live.

How Does CashForGuns.com Process you Firearm

When we receive your firearm at our facility, CashForGuns.com does a simple but thorough inspection of it. We verify it’s condition, serial numbers, and inspect it’s overall condition. It’s rare, but if your firearm differs substantially from the pictures you sent us and it is determined that the gun’s value is different from what was originally quoted, we will contact you and let you know. We ensure a risk free process when it comes to an offer because if the offer is changed following the appraisal we’ll again give you the option to accept or reject. Depending on your decision we will either return your firearm or finish the sales process by sending you an official Bill of Sale and payment. The entire process is simple and risk free!
